John Maeda sorts designers into three buckets: “classical designers” (those who make posters); “design thinkers” (those who make design systems and businesses); and “computational designers” (those who make the stuff people actually use).
Although Moruomi doesn't quite agree with Maeda's Design Darwinism philosophy in which classical designers will go the way of the Dodo, she is on her way to be a holistic designer who wears all these shoes.
Studied film at Peking University and digital communication and technology at Georgetown University, Moruomi is now based in Washington, DC and keeps improving her expertise in brand strategy, visual identity, print, UX/UI, illustration and multi-media to help clients tell engaging stories and connect with their target audience
